I went to Sweden and will never do so again in the winter. It's cold. My new years eve turned out to be a disappointing: Someone I thought was a one of my best girlfriends completely bailed on me so I spent new years eve alone in a hotel room in Dubai. She kept saying she was on her way, but never showed up. (No, nothing happened to her.) Very nasty behavior. After having experienced normalcy in Sweden all the incompetence in the UAE drives me crazy. It starts at the airport with cab-drivers who can't speak English let alone find your destination. Then again, what can you expect from someone who makes $150 / month? I finally watched Sex & the City 2. I want to make a few comments so people are not misled: I. Butlers (and others who are not Westerners) do not get to go to their home countries every 3 months. It's 1-2 months every 2 yrs. 2. Non-westerners do not speak English (sometimes not even Westerns speak English, such as th Irish...). 3. It was not shot in Abu Dhabi, but in dirty Morocco. Attached a picture of how it looked on the Yas highway back to Abu Dhabi. It's ghosttown-like to drive all alone on a 5-lane highway. Do tell me a story about when you had a crap friend bail on you!
