Are you happy for me to go ahead and make contact with him to find out what his client has in mind? We are continuing to investigate the phone hacking issue for yourself and a number of other clients. What we have found is that the MET records appear to be limited to mobile or landline usage within the jurisdiction of the UK. Accordingly, phone usage (or hacking) that has taken place in the US or indeed Ireland, is not currently showing up on their database. We're therefore investigating the possibility that News Corp may have been using an agent like Mulcare in these jurisdictions where we have been receiving similar complaints. I will keep you closely advised. In the meantime, I am attaching a further interim account, which includes an outstanding balance from our last bill, for your kind attention.
