After re-reading your email, I must make it perfectly clear that I never ever said I would " back your play. ". I
need and will continie to be as careful as I can .

Jeffrey....
Based on your telling me that you would back my play I assured Dr. Noah and Fadel Hshad that we/you would
bring them and Dr. Magariaf to NY for the opening of the UN General Assembly this next week to meet you
(whom I told is fearless and can do whatever needed) and that they could use the trip as a platform for him to
begin his return to Libya next month.
This situation is further complicated with the fact that the Kuwaiti Sheikh flaked on the promises he made to
them when they were in NY last June. As such, we could lose them if we don't bring them to NY as promised
and fulfill the dream...
As such, I urge you to reconsider your decision and finance me bringing them to NY for three days so that they
see and feel our juice and commitment to them... These guys about to get the mandate to negotiate a
settlement with Goldman and Dr. Magariaf will end up as a major power broker when he returns to Libya...
Also, I think that we can make a strong argument to be the people to identify, manage and monetize the more
than US$40 billion in assets that the Libyan Investment Authority invested in Sub-Sahara Africa.
Needless to say, either mandate should generate hundreds of millions to us.... I need you help... As such, I
strongly urge you to reconsider because it would be a shame to lose these opportunities. Finally.... If you
finance, I will handle the arrangements and make sure that their visit lives up to their expectations...
Sincerely,
Greg Brown
