NEVER. since it winds around the bend„ you can leave anything that is not seen from the pool. otherwise, redo it. no more that 3 feet across, hence the small opening, in the wall, it is a scar on what i had said, worked hard to be pristine, I WANT PHOTOS , especailly of begiining g work, that is how to protect against these mistakes that cost time money and have to be re done . it is a walking path it was to make level and dry, no more than that „ the walls look terrible. one little rock to mark the path , no more.
