engine repair:
I will have firm numbers on Tuesday from engine shop with repair scope,. should not be a deal stopper,.the more
important item was corrosion found on tail,.in which case we have a plan of attack for repair. at this time 7 days+ for
repair,.
tail corrosion:
the reference to D.T.A. (Damage Tolerance Assessment) below, means a supplemental inspection requirement will be
required to be added to our maintenance program to monitor the area of repair, standard practice for this situation.
thanks,

Larry,
We had the engineers from Cotney Aerospace out here at Flightstar yesterday looking at your aircraft, they will be able
to provide us with a preliminary repair or general work instructions by the first of next week if we give them a green light
to start working it now. In the meantime, we could start our disassembling & gaining access. I would estimate that the
repair itself will take approx. 7 days (machining & heat treat of parts are time hogs) and then re-assembly will take
approx. 2.5 to 3 days from that point. I would expect Cotney to be able to provide final repair approval (8110-3) by our
repair completion time and the DTA can be done within 12 months and delivered to you.
