As should be clear, half of the items you list are third party accusations with the two having any content having been shown to be factually incorrect, and for all you or I know may have been initiated by men . Moreover, if you are trying to suggest a trend there is nothing of the sort here. These are a series of six unrelated and very different items, ranging from the false third party claims about actions involving unknown individuals, to what at best seems to have been a misunderstanding regarding language at my last University. There is no history here of sexual harassment involved in the various disparate things you have cobbled together. As to why people might make false accusations against me, I cannot read their minds, but I suspect it may be obvious to you: I am a high profile male atheist scientist who has made statements that are deemed provocative, and has defended sometimes unpopular causes and/or individuals. Moreover there are a number of groups within the atheist community who openly seek to impugn the integrity of well known male atheists. I think there is a good evidencef that at least a few of the false items you listed have that origin. I try to work with reporters a lot, so I have a natural inclination to want to be as complete as possible, but usually this is a collegial relationship where we are both trying to get material out that is as accurate as possible.. and in this case I find it hard to feel that this is the case. Nevertheless, I will try to be more explicit for your benefit. Starting around the time I defended my friend Jeffrey Epstein from a rash of what I saw as ridiculous and unfounded claims, claims online began to surface about me with a sexual nature. The first I saw online was a claim that Stephen Hawking and I had had an orgy at one of Jeffrey's properties. If you know anything about my friend Stephen Hawking you will know this is patently ridiculous.
