This Dual window change is truly the hardest single project I've ever seen and the chance of the window cracking on the first time I pull pitch is making Edwards make sure these windows are installed properly. Edwards is finally finished shimming the windows and will set windows today, Edwards quoted me a labor estimate, I assure you this extra time to install is Edwards problem not ours. I plan to take the helicopter to paint shop in Stuart Wednesday night for window trim to be painted. This is only a one day paint process, I will fwd photos of tan trim color samples if you decide to add a trim color. We can also accomplish the trim color painting in st thomas at our hanger, if you remember I have personally painted aircraft when I started as a mechanic, I was the shops painter and know how to operate a paint gun. Thx, Pls advise if Friday arrival is approved?, I could use the extra day with the helicopter.
