While the list is a who's-who of editors, reporters, bureau chiefs and columnists - as participants in D, we treat the media like any other attendee. For that reason we ask that you do not contact them in advance, but instead take advantage of the networking opportunities on-site to schedule your interviews. Additionally, please note, it is our policy at D, out of respect to our presenters on stage, that interviews and other meetings not be scheduled during session hours, but during breaks, lunch, and other unscheduled program time. We hope you will join us in extending that courtesy to our speakers and demonstrators. I'd also like to take this time to inform you of the TV interview guidelines during the event. This year, TV crews from Fox Business News, CNBC and CNN will be covering D11. As in past years, we will not permit live TV cameras in the Palos Verdes Ballroom, Palos Verdes Ballroom Pre-Function, or adjacent hallways. Instead we have provided all camera crews with access to separate rooms and/or terrace areas, where they can set up and shoot live interviews. We do not facilitate these interviews, and have instructed the media outlets to contact you and your PR representative directly with interview requests. There is, of course, no obligation to participate in these live interviews. We hope these guidelines will continue to provide our speakers and guests with an enjoyable experience throughout the conference. Look forward to seeing you at D11!
