He was very frustrated regarding plant order. I apologized for anything i did to upset him and he said that over the past 5 months he has priced and repriced this order 20-30x I was able to convince him to proceed with order. We both agreed that next order should be done via Chris. Please see his comments below. Attached is list that he will order with exception of 10 Butia palms. Please confirm it is ok to proceed and your thoughts on using royal palms instead of Butia palms. The main item at this point I see an issue with is the (10) Butia palms, namely that they aren't available anymore through the vendor I was working with. I suggest leaving them off the sales order for now, and if we can find them for a reasonable price in FL we can add them back in later. The other option would be to use our Royal palms instead, but I don't know if that fits into Jeffrey's and Chris' planting scheme at the secondary pool. Without the Butia palms the total would come to $56,146.65, excluding freight. Payment in full is required prior to processing the order. Payments by credit card are subject to a 3% processing fee. Let me know how you wish to proceed. As noted, items are F.O.B. Florida, and shipping from St.Croix to LSJ would be through the General or Brigadier, which I understand owes LSJ time on. Also noted is that we are flying stateside to hand tag all plants, unloading and handling the blooming plants at our nursery, then reloading and forwarding the freight on to LSJ. Therefore I'm not comfortable in reducing the price any more than the 30% off that we've already noted. I apologize if this doesn't work within your budget, but we obviously can't take a loss on the order.
