From: Richard Barnett <I To: <[email protected]> Subject: RE: Date: Tue, 18 Jun 2013 12:52:01 +0000 Importance: Normal Good morning Mr.Epstein the new increase of air flow to the bed room unit moves air across the bed from the cornice above the same wall you are looking to install a split system. The floor vents by the windows have also increased I would like to re direct that increased flow to blow at the bed right now the air flow blows straight up . The problem with installing a split system in the electric closet between the elevator and bed room is getting the condenser hooked up ,if we go to a water cooled unit the riser pipes we would have to connect to are in the rear of the 3rdfl in the message room which go up to the cooling tower on the roof ,we also need a plumbing drain line for condensate drip which would require to connect nearest plumbing drain ( bed room pantry) .The electric closet by the elevator is an electric riser closet only it was designed to keep water away from the electric service. To go to air cooled split like LSJ the condenser unit needs to be located outside to the nearest location out doors this area would be is a small set back below the roof on the 5th floor faceing Howard Lutnick roof we would need to find a route to the 3fl closet from that outside space. Either way this installation would require core drilling between floors and opening ceilings. When you return home see how you feel with the new increase of air in the bed room because we can do a better job of redirecting the air flow from above and below over the bed.
