Bill,
Ive given yesterdays conversation a lot of thought. I hope no matter what happens and what you decide to do
that you are happy for a long time. I greatly value our friendship. ( i hope warren can assist in putting out the fire
I did not want there to be any misunderstandings between you and I , ever. If you cannot convince Melinda to
change her mind, my career as I had hoped for is at an end. I appreciate the offer to work with Khosla , and
your offer to pay small severance but I think we need to be creative about a fair and just solution. There are
many pieces and ways to think about the future. I fear my reputation and future is in danger. and I have done
nothing wrong.
As you said there was little hope in her changing her mind, almost zero, I have asked Jeffrey for his help , and
I know that we can trust him. He is very creative and has dealt with situations as delicate and complex as this
one before . He is bound as my financial advisor by confidentiality, which both he had I take very seriously..
I am keeping my fingers crossed that you can pull off a miracle, and we can continue to work on so many good
causes and projects. I believe in you,
