Subject: GIV plating

Jeffrey,
I spoke to Gulfstream interior shop and Paul Zappia from Techno Coatings in Miami, Paul estimated a real
number to be $30,000 to $40,000 max, Two week turn time to fully replate a GIV, sink, cup holders, latches, air
outlets and lights, etc. he concurred that $71,000 is abnormally high,. to install a new Cabin management system
is costly, depending on system, $190k-$300k, the aircraft would have to be re-wired, our cabin management
system was estimate to be installed in 2004 at Western System Design, it would be a long shot whether they have
exact replacement switch panels that would not require a full re-wire. for this reason, it makes sense to replate
our current panels. New PSU lights and Air outlets depends on LED etc, I have no cost at this time.
Techno Coatings in Miami, estimated cost for items below,.
cup holder, $75 ea. (18 estimate)
PSU light $150 per unit ea. (12 installed)
Cabin management switch panel $275 (8 main CMS panels)
6 foot door hinger re plating estimate $850 (two)
door latches $75 ea. galley, credenza, fwd cabin, etc. (52 latches).
Sink bowl $850,.
thx
Lany
