I instructed Steve via email to arrange for the truck to be towed to West Truck Services, Moriarty to confirm estimated repair costs and overall condition of truck. Unfortunately that message was not relayed and they went ahead and ordered a rebuilt Transmission, cost $4136.98, less taxes Total cost of Transmission and Clutch repair is $7712.72, see attached estimate The overall condition of the truck is good, apart from the transmission and clutch. We contacted Peter-built Trucks in ABQ, they where not interested in doing repair, due to age of truck. Steve sends his sincere apologizes. How do you wish to proceed, repair?
