Hi Jeffrey, Heather had a meeting with Leon this morning and brought with her the new GRAT Agreement (creating APO I GRAT No. 5) and the three GRAT annuity assignment documents for Leon to sign (the annuity payments are due today). Unfortunately Leon did not want to sign anything until he spoke with you on Friday- September 5th (when you are planning to meet). This poses a problem if we are to coordinate the annuity payment dates for GRAT No. 5 with the other GRATs. To do that Leon needs to sign the new GRAT document by tomorrow (it has to be signed in the presence of a Notary Public) so it can be funded on September 4th. Attached is a copy of the new agreement. Heather left the execution copy with Melanie, tabbed for Leon's signature. Would you be able to call or email Leon with your approval to sign? Thanks in advance.
