Yes I love new challenges and surrounding myself with smart. eccentric people with big ideas. in both my personal and professional life. Coincidentally. one of those just called and asked me to work for his company here in ny. He is building solar powered perpetual flight drones and airplanes to provide internet in remote areas, also invented a new way to make composite materials and is building some crazy flying things for Darpa. I could be the chief pilot on his jet and a test pilot for the experimental toys. I just visited the company and deciding if I should do it. The test flying is no joke...oertainly a tempting challenge and learning opportunity compared to 'driving a bus for a discount airline. but risky. :) I also can't leave the country so if I wanted to try the airline world, it would need be here instead of Europe. There is a new pilot shortage so they are all going to have issues finding enough qualified pilots soon...al least until pilots are no longer needed at all.
