I loved his first tennis essay and would like to give it to Penn for the second round. Schools love to see someone from our kind of privileged school do this kind of work. He has a letter about it but that essay really nails it. So an additional essay, maybe another teacher letter, additional support from people you know. I've put in a call to our rep, too.
