This was to be complied with by the end of 2017 for 121 and 125 operators flying in the US. This is a Rule not an AD. There are two (2) ways to accomplish this . One is to put the nitrogen system in which is very expensive and time consuming. The other is the foam system which Aersafe has the STC and is reasonably priced at $195K and only takes a few days to comply with. See the info from Aersafe and the FAA details about the works. We are getting a written quote from them and will forward to you ASAP. Thanks!
