Dear Satish Gally,
I am writing to formally apologise for my absence from work at the bank last week.
I am deeply appreciative of having been offered a chance for work experience at such a prestigious institution
as the Bank if China.
The reason for my absence was that last Monday, A dire family circumstance arose , I have never had to deal
with such a blow and feel ashamed that I have let both you and your bank down. . I have brought shame on
my family and have asked for and received their forgiveness. Please accept my most humble apology.
A friend of our family, has made it plain to me how important the Bank of China is as a global institution, and
what a privilege I have passed up through my absence. Again, I would be most grateful if you could accept
my apologies.
I would also appreciate an opportunity to spend some time at the bank at a time that is convenient to you.
Your's Sincerely,
Edward Rod-Larsen
