The large roller will be used to "iron out' the asphalt mat to improve smoothness, and the kneading action of the rubber tires on the pneumatic roller will help close the voids in any rocky areas. I have attached photo's of the surface from White Lakes Road, which by all accounts is a similar application of that of the Ranch. It appears the surface on White Lakes Road is more compact and smother application than that of the Ranch. We also applied water to the paved section this morning, and this confirms the unevenness of the surface.
