Thanks for the call this morning. I was surprised to learn that you contacted Cynthia yesterday after I
submitted the appeal on Friday. Amidst our back and forth on Sunday and Monday regarding my proposed
contact letter to OEI you didn't let me know that that was part of the plan. In any case, given the email
communication below, and following on our conversation, I ask you not to call but rather to email Kim
Demarchi, cc'ing me, to introduce yourself very briefly as my legal advisor during the process thus far at ASU,
and to ask her to reply by email about what her role will be in the conciliation process. Please also ask her to cc
me on her response. Beyond that, at this stage, I require a heads up on any future actions you want us to take,
and of course if you receive any further correspondence in relation to my case, please forward on to me.
I will forward on the communication I send to the University regarding the conciliation process, as we discussed.
I will also make a decision about preparation plans for any hearing that may take place in that regard once we
get information from Ms. Demarchi and from the University
Thanks.

Justin,
By copy of this email, I want to introduce you and Courtney to Kim Demarchi, a partner with Osborn Maledon, who
will be handling this matter going forward. Here is a link to her contact
information
Please feel free to contact her directly to
set up a time for the two of you to talk.
Also, it occurred to me this morning that I had not sent you a copy of OEI's memorandum concerning its initial review
of Dr. Melanie Thomson's complaint about Professor Krauss. I have attached a copy of that memorandum above. My
apology for that oversight. Regards,
Cindy

Cindy,
Once you've had a chance to review and digest his appeal,
like to schedule a time to talk. Can you let me
know what works for you?
Thanks,
