Dear Jeffrey,
Please save the date for May 4-5, 2019 for the inaugural BrainMind Summit at MIT. An official invitation to
register will follow shortly.
The goals of this Summit are ambitious. We are building a best-in-class community around the mission to
advance neuroscience innovation that will most benefit humanity, proposing a draft of the BrainMind
roadmap, and catalyzing focused and informal collaborations between sector-defining scientists, entrepreneurs,
operators, investors, leaders, thinkers and philanthropists.
BrainMind Summit participants will also be brought to the tip of the spear on topics such as the neural basis of
consciousness, the brain in love, improved circuits of learning, aging with vibrancy, childhood brain
development, brain-mind interfaces, psychedelics, artful applications of Al in clinical brain health, new
breakthroughs in depression and PTSD, preventing Alzheimer's, wearable neurotechnology, and some special
surprises.
George Church, Ed Boyden, Emery Brown, Nancy Kanwisher, Laura Roberts, Amit Etkin, Geoff Ling, Judson
Brewer, Helen Fisher, Hugh Herr, and other top scientists will be presenting their latest work in these topic
areas.
As many of you experienced at the BrainMind Summit at Stanford and other BrainMind events, this will be far
from the typical conference - with opportunities to have a direct impact on the science presented, and
meaningful engagement with a carefully curated, truly multidisciplinary audience. You have all been selected
for your brilliance, effectiveness, sincerity, and intent.
We trust your opinion, so feel free to nominate special others to attend. We are already oversubscribed with
interest for this Summit, but we always welcome the nomination of new talented folks to bring into the
BrainMind ecosystem and Summits.
We hope you will join us at MIT.
Warmly,
Michael McCullough
