I've sent a message asking if the cistern will have an odor while it is empty after it is cleaned. This is what we are trying to avoid. I also asked him if the thoroseal creates an odor. I am awaiting his reply. Do we have any idea how long JE will be here or when he plans to return? Potentially after his departure we can have them do the thoroseal. It takes 2 days to apply, 7 days to cure, then it is rinsed down and the process is repeated one more time. This means it takes approximately 18-20 days before the cistern is completely sealed and ready for use. Estimate for all cisterns, including master, is attached. The prices are broken down by cistern and shows separate prices for cleaning and thoroseal. Do you know when the cisterns were last sealed?
