Leon asked me to ask Sotheby's the same question, so I'll let you know as soon as I hear from them and would appreciate you doing the same with Christie's. Leon just told me that Sotheby's upped their guarantee to $18.75 million on Friday night. Not clear to me which way he thinks Jeffrey should go (guarantee at Sotheby's or enhanced hammer at Christie's), but he EFTA01048446 does think getting the work either on a cover of the catalogue or having a special stand-alone catalogue for it will help market it more effectively and bring a higher price.
