(This is a quote from Leon and one he wants them to know he said it.) You can tell her (if you want to) that Sotheby's has continued to press its case and that is where this late-day question is coming from. Since I officially handed you guys off to and got the Christie's people I was dealing with out of the loop, I think the question should come from you to her. Leon asked me to ask Sotheby's the same question, so I'll let you know as soon as I hear from them and would appreciate you doing the same with Christie's. Leon just told me that Sotheby's upped their guarantee to $18.75 million on Friday night. Not clear to me which way he thinks Jeffrey should go (guarantee at Sotheby's or enhanced hammer at Christie's), but he does think getting the work either on a cover of the catalogue or having a special stand-alone catalogue for it will help market it more effectively and bring a higher price.
