Thank youl Heather Dear Leon, I just spoke with Elan Wingate at Gagosian. The potential purchaser of the Giacometti is Elan's client. The purchaser asked Elan for photographs of the signature and the foundry mark (which Elan provided). The purchaser said those were the last two things he needed in order to make a decision. Elan is feeling confident that his client is going to purchase the work and told me that he expects to hear from the client tomorrow or Friday. We didn't discuss the purchase price.
