milt= 2 Ever since I started my first career, as an elite figure skater, I have been determined to engage completely in fulfilling my undertakings and commitments. Over time, this has resulted in me having worked and/or studied on three different continents, having held the position of business unit manager and, most recently, having qualified for the international top program CEMS Master in Management at Stockholm School of Economics. Being in my penultimate year of this double master degree, I have realised the great value of being part of strong communities, such as SSE and CEMS. To me, BBB appears to be an even stronger community in that sense, and after having met a couple of extremely inspiring women from the network, I feel strongly motivated to engage in and contribute to it. During my time at SSE, I have been engaged in a number of projects in the student association, SASSE, spanning from being a project leader for an entrepreneurial career fair to being the president for the literature society. These experiences did not only improve my leadership capabilities and my problem solving skills, but also resulted in a position as business unit manager at the entrepreneurial company Upgrades Education. During the time I held this position, my business unit more than doubled its revenues while customer satisfaction constantly increased. At the end of my time there, I managed 20 employees and worked with strategic issues regarding regional expansions and product development. By combining this position with full time studies at SSE and student association commitments, I developed my multitasking skills, my stress resilience and my analytical capabilities — abilities that I believe to be valuable for me and potentially also for other members of the network. I hope and believe that BBB could be a way for me to meet and engage with driven and competent women, and to get an opportunity to exchange experiences and valuable advice with them. I strongly support the values of the network, especially regarding the need for women to support one another, and I am convinced that a membership would mean a great deal for my future career, which I hope to pursue within diplomacy or international business. I do hope that my experiences, skills and genuine interest in engaging in BBB will give me an opportunity to join the network. Best Regards, Ida Sultan EFTA01093329
