June 10, 2009 It's been years since we've spoken and this letter is far overdue. I with all sincerity had to reach out to you and express the gratitude that I have for the life you have given me. Not a day goes by that I do not think of you and your generosity. The hero, that came from nowhere and offered me a new direction, a different path, and journey to a new life. You saved me Jeffrey, with your support and belief in me. Your contributions to my education, the ability to study abroad and your simple and steadfast belief that I was destined for something greater then my financial situation afforded me. You single handedly shaped my future. Those gifts challenged my world viewpoint and gave me a perspective that could have only been a result of your generous philanthropy. You plucked me out of my terrible existence and gave me the gift of hope, faith and the tools to forge my own future. I will never forget what you did for me. I will never be anything but a friend to you; I will always be here to support you in anyway necessary. I am writing on my letterhead as the president of my namesake company, I employ 35 fulltime employees; I am responsible for their livelihood. I followed your lead and donate my resources to variety of causes from education to teen intervention services. My mother has deteriorated at an alarming rate and I now care for both my father and mother. I support my sister and my nephew with pride. If it weren't for you none of this would have been possible. I pay it forward in every way I can and the web that connects us all is connected directly to you. If there is anything that you need, if there is anything I can do for you, just ask and I will do anything in my power to provide. If it were not for you I honestly believe I would not be alive today. I am here for you.
