Task List 12-23-2010 71st Street ( Request from Jeffrey ) Upgrade wireless network to Apple Based wireless Network and give coverage to the whole property. Set up and Build a Server Environment so Jeffrey can Sync all of his Macs Worldwide Set up a cell network booster so Jeffrey, his Staff, and Guests can have better cell phone reception. Resolve the issues with printing for property. All this must be done while maintaining the current Cisco, Citrix, locked down authentication paths. Deadline is Jeffrey's Return to 71st Jan 3rd, 2011 LSJ The current network design does not give Jeffrey's Office Bandwith Priority so he is getting network Connection issues, Solution: The office needs a server and a zero config switch which is self contained on its own subnet To do this both office locations on the Island need to be controlled by a master OSX server box connect to an Asante switch ( a zero config sub switch ) this will give Jeffrey a Platform for a more reliable connection, a move secure connection, and will allow to set up a back up network through a cell connection. This was already tested when power and internet went down I was able to provide data services through my cell phone and macbook air. Multiple Requests where made for hardware and software functionality for staff and crew. Jeffrey needs his imac upgraded from 10.5.8. to 10.6.5 EFTA01122843
