BRENNAN Vice Presideal December 29, 2012 Mr. Barnett: We herewith submit our proposal to perform work in our line at the above referenced job location according to the site visit and as outlined below: Mechanical Equipment Room- Remove and Replace Domestic Water Heater To shut down, isolate and drain the existing A.O. Smith DVE-250-45 electric water heater. To remove the metal jacket on the heater and cut the storage tank in pieces so it can be removed from the site. To extend the existing concrete pad approximately 18" to accommodate the new (2) heater configuration. To famish and install (2) A.O. Smith DVE-120-24 water heaters rated at 208V, 3 Phase and 24kw each. To furnish and install A.O. Smith Dun-Power manifold kit to connect the two heaters in parallel. To famish and install the necessary 1 '4", 1 1/4" and %" copper type "L" tubing with wrought copper fittings, valves and adapters necessary for the installation. To test the new piping for leaks and proper operation. To insulate the new piping with I" thick fiberglass insulation. All work is to be performed in a neat and workmanlike manner for the sum of...S32,450.00 Notes & Exclusions: I. All work is to be performed on regular time, no overtime. 2. A deposit of $20,000.00 is required to order the heaters which are a custom non-returnable items. 3. Lead time on the heaters is 2 weeks from the factory in Seattle. 4. Price does not include any electrical work, control wiring, painting, painting of piping, video inspection, slab scan, beam cuts, welding, engineered drawings, cutting, patching, chopping, digging/trenching/bedding/backfilling/saw cutting/concrete work, painting, sprinkler work, HVAC, CADD as-built drawings, seismic hangers, fire stopping, heat tracing, leak detectors, toilet accessories, access doors, responsibility for existing plumbing systems, temporary toilets, lead abatement or asbestos abatement related work.
