Earlier in the summer, we announced a grace period to submit your negative results papers for free. Encouraged by your enthusiasm for the campaign we extended the waiver on article processing charges to September 30th, and now you have less than two weeks left to write up your negative findings and submit them to F1000Research for free! To benefit from this waiver, simply quote code NR13 at step 6 of the submission form. After September 30th, negative results papers will be subject to our regular article processing fees. At F1000Research, we pride ourselves on transparency and openness, and we encourage the publication of all sound science - not just those studies that result in positive findings. The news has spread far and wide, and we've had amazing feedback: A group of MBA students at Georgetown, McDonough School of Business featured F1000Research as part of a project looking at the publication of negative results in science. They're looking into the possibilities of setting up an online discussion forum to talk about negative results, and all their interviews and notes are on their blog. - Nik Papageorgiou was inspired by our negative results campaign. and drew a cartoon about negative results, which quickly went viral. - We were mentioned on a number of other blogs, including AAAS blog and Scientopia. Submit your paper: Publication can take as little as 7 days, and all articles that pass the formal peer review process will be indexed in PubMed and other major bibliographic databases. You can view the eminent researchers supporting us through our Advisory Panel and Editorial Board. Submit your negative results paper using our simple one-page submission system adding code NR13 into section 6 of the form to receive your waiver.
