WWW WWW CONFERENCE Tuesday 20 August 2013 Friends of The WWW Conference: As you may already know, The WWW Conference App has been available for purchase since 15 August 2013. The App is located in iTunes, to which you can be directed to by this link: iTunes: https://itunes.apple.com/us/appithe-www-conference/id6861456067m1=8 Currently, the App contains an abundance of materials provided by a number of the conference participants. The App is easily to navigated thanks to its new modality design. Due to the dynamic nature of the App and its capabilities it is only available for iPad or iPad mini devices. The App is priced at 3.99 USD. Unfortunately, the process of gifting each speaker the App is not nearly as simple as we would have imagined and therefore if the cost is an issue for anyone Richard will gladly send you a check for a single purchase of The WWW Conference App. A large amount of material sent in to us was not able to make it into the first release of the App, for reasons too complicated to go into. In the final quarter of this year 2013 there will be a major update to the App. It will inject the current design with more speaker submitted materials, links to supporting assets, photographs, music, conversations and other information privy to only those who already own the App. We also hope and encourage those that did not contribute any material to do so. Please enjoy the App's seductive content as a unique interactive guide to the improvised conversations and intellectual jazz that was The WWW Conference 2012. I thank each and every one of you for the opportunity this gathering afforded us all. Please share any comments you may have. We do already know that the performance with Cristina Pato and Steve Stevens, the Chinese telepresence and a library of Jon Kamen's photographs were left out. This will be corrected in the update.
