Paxos, Greece 5m
It's not quite Skorpios, the Greek island owned by the shipping billionaire
Aristotle Onassis that his granddaughter sold last month for a reported £100m,
but the 10-hectare Kaltsionisi, which lies off the southernmost tip of Paxos, is up
1 for sale. The new owners will be able to build their own 380 sq metre villa on the
densely wooded, pebbly island, which has a small, 17th-century church and can
be reached via a coastal road or by boat from Gaios. The rest of the island is
protected forest, but the owners will have it all to themselves.
