Became CFO in 2012 as part of a company reorganization and downsizing. As accounting manager, my department was responsible for the in-house administration and investment management functions for 3 hedge funds, all fund of funds. As CFO my responsibilities were increased to also include oversight of all office management functions, including internal accounting for the St. Thomas office. Investor Relations, SEC and NFA reporting, and oversight of 3rd party tax work for the funds have also been added to the functions of the St. Thomas office and are under my purview. As Controller my department had responsibility for the back office accounting for 12 hedge funds (emerging markets, listed and private equity) as well as internal accounting for the company. As COO I oversaw the daily operations of the entire business and served as EDC compliance officer. Most departmental managers reported directly to me. In addition to the Controller and COO functions, I also handled the personal accounting of the company's President and performed a range of accounting functions for his foundation.
