Dear Jeffrey, "Valerie Lang. child of the century" a film by Serge Moati Serge Moati and his team from Image & Compagnie are currently preparing a 45 minutes documentary film on Valerie. This documentary will pay tribute to this exceptional woman who had lived her ►ife with love for the theater and with an unconditional commitment: an exhilarating life which was filled with cultural and civic battles which began very early and ended too soon. This film will be a mirror of the social movement of the time — the culture between 1970 and 2010. Love, radicalism, talent and hard work — Valerie played in some of the finest plays of the French theatre with her perfect face, her intense gaze, her extraordinarily captivating voice. This documentary film will bring all her qualities to life. Through the voice of some of her fellow comedians, this film will also feature the beautiful verses written by Valerie which will be published soon. As a storyteller, Serge Moati will delve through the archives where Valerie plays, lives, narrates, defends — always with enthusiasm — the struggle of a life. To produce this film, Serge Maoti needs to collect a sum of E 100 000. A non-profit organization has been created to gather the necessary funds to make this film on Valerie.
