MAXWELL is a powerful woman. was made aware of this during her time with JEFFREY EPSTEIN and MAXWELL. is concerned about retaliation because MAXWELL is not a nice woman. described MAXWELL as vicious. observed that MAXWELL did not like women very much. The strongest memory has of MAXWELL is her first encounter with her. believed this was the first or one of the first encounters she had with MAXWELL. They were on EPSTEIN's island. There was some training between MAXWELL, , and another woman MAXWELL was very short and rude to and MAXWELL thought very little of them. They ate a lot of meals together and a lot of things were ignored when and would speak. MAXWELL was stuck up, snobby, and cold. EPSTEIN would say that MAXWELL was jealous because MAXWELL was madly in love with him and would do anything for him. MAXWELL worked for EPSTEIN. At some point when MAXWELL was showing them how to do things, EPSTEIN came out on the porch. was embarrassed. They were on the couch with their back to the movie theater, and EPSTEIN's office was nearby. When EPSTEIN walked onto the porch, he asked them what they were doing. MAXWELL told him that she was teaching them. EPSTEIN said, "Good, you girls listen to Ghislaine; she knows what she's doing." There were a few times where EPSTEIN was stern with MAXWELL. He was angry with MAXWELL. saw them in an argument. MAXWELL was a staple in EPSTEIN's life; she was there a lot. her multiple times when MAXWELL would be arriving or leaving. not remember there being months passing without seeing her. MAXWELL on the island, the New York mansion, and she thought they may have met up in New York City at one point, but she was not sure. went on errands with EPSTEIN while in New York City. did not believe that MAXWELL was on the same visit when went to New Mexico. saw did saw On the island, when arrived, there were younger women there. did not know their ages; some of them did not speak English. shared a room. It seemed that JEAN LUC BRUNEL and MAXWELL were in contact with each other. It felt to that when she arrived on the island it was a changing of shift because MAXWELL knew the women. When the boat dropped off, the girls left the next day. It seemed that MAXWELL had some type of authority over them. recalled a young woman bringing something to the office and MAXWELL said that EPSTEIN did not like that. MAXWELL told them what to do. MAXWELL was a little harsher with thought MAXWELL was harsher to because MAXWELL brought in. MAXWELL would tell them how to dress and how to behave. understands the difference between what she was told back then and now. did not know if MAXWELL mentioned an actual massage. gave EPSTEIN very real massages that turned into incidents where sexual things occurred. did not understand then that sexual acts were not apart of massages. MAXWELL would very much tap into sexual situations; she told how to pinch EPSTEIN's nipples. There were dark shades in the room. MAXWELL set things up for dinner then would say, "set up the massage table, Jeffrey wants a massage". believed it would be a massage that turned into sexual encounters. When MAXWELL was not there, would tell her to set things up. A lot of times it came from mouth as well. When was asked if she was asked to bring someone, she said EPSTEIN threatened her that it would be in her best interest to do so. There were subtle hints that EPSTEIN and would give to her. EPSTEIN gave less money because she did not bring people. EPSTEIN sent to massage school to find other girls. was attending The condition EPSTEIN told her was "you should find girls for me". EPSTEIN liked those that were innocent or those that had not had a lot of sexual activity. thought he wanted those under 22 years old because she thought he did not even want that old. was nervous because she was 20 years old at the time. recalled a conversation with and she thought where it was wondered why she could not be like those girls who could go out to clubs and get women.
