Dean was told my general parameters. Asked the provost and president and they said that was close enough for conciliation committee to write a report, since dean isn't empowered to talk about any details re retirement, severance , statement to save face (which apparently the dean was ok with) and that now I should deal directly with provost and president to see if we can hash out specifics. The committee will write the report on Wednesday, and then presumably after that I will be put in touch with the Provost. I have told them that I do not wish to negotiate through my lawyer. I also made it clear that they know that I'm not agreeing to anything specifically at this time. So I guess it is as good as it could be. I was really having a roller coaster today.
