Date: Wed, 03 Nov 2021 22:12:36 +0000 Importance: Normal As a VS in NYO the past 11 1/2 years I have a vast knowledge and skills on a variety of various violent crimes ranging from MS 13, human trafficking including Epstein & Maxwell case, El Chapo, Gabby Petito homicide ;and have traveled to Saudi Arabia and Djbouti to recover minor victims in International Parental Kidnapping Abductions. As NYC is a major trafficking hub I have assisted numerous minor and adult trafficking victims located in the NYC and Long Island AOR. I have also assisted the Honolulu US Attorney's office on a trafficking case where one of the victims lived in NYC; and sat on trial prep coordination calls. With NYC being the melting pot I have gained the ability to quickly build rapport with various cultures, languages, religions to render appropriate victim assistance. During the Djbouti reunification I ended up traveling alone with two minor victims who only spoke Arabic. I was able to find a way to communicate on the 30 hour travel back to nyc and provide appropriate victim assistance. I also assisted in several TDY's this past year at the Tulsa/ Muscogee RA and have expanded my knowledge with Indian Country and violent crime cases. With my skills from the variety of NY cases I was able to work quickly with the Tulsa cases; and was requested to return. With my skills I was able to quickly build rapport with the Agents , assess the needs of the office and help with multiple cases at a time. With the vast variety of cases and knowledge I feel that I would be able to walk in to this office, build rapport with the agents and provide immediate effective and efficient assistance to all victims. I am also a member of the VSRT and have responded to many MCI and would be able to hit the ground running in the event of a MCI. I also received the Excellence Award 2019/2020 for my work which included conquering the challenges of the Djbouti IPKA recovery and reunification. MS Victim Specialist FBI New York desk EFTA01651708
