Although most Palestinians support "th= use of knives," almost half (47%) of Palestinians believe the PA's libel =hat Israel fabricates the stabbing attacks <http://www.palwatch.org/main.aspx?fi=157&doc_id=15985> &nbs=; and that "those who were shot have not stabbed or were not attempting to=stab Israelis." However, 51% do believe that "most... have in fact stabbed=or were attempting to stab Israelis." These opinions were revea=ed in a recent poll conducted by the Palestinian Center for Policy and Su=vey Research (PSR) in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip between Dec. 10-12)=2015 (see below). Summing up the results, PSR remarked that EFTA_R1_00006984 EFTA01733246 "the 'Oslo gen=ration' of youth between the ages of 18 and 22 are the most supportive of =n armed intifada and stabbings and the least supportive of the two-state s=lution." The poll =ound that almost 2/3 (60%) are in favor of an "armed intifada" and more th=n 1/3 (37%) of Palestinians believe that "the current confrontations" will=develop into such. Two thirds (66%) believe that a "new armed intifada" "w=uld serve Palestinian national interests in ways that negotiations could n=t."
