I just got off the phone updating Jennie on my call with Russ. Russ was very personal and friendly, and said he had thought about our "generous offer" to provide them a fresh proposed structure to consider, and documents, to advance things under the assumption that they will be comfortable with the tax returns and financial underwriting/risks associated with the same...but...he felt it would be best to pause at this point. He prefers to just wait until all of the tax returns are done and then, once they have evaluated the same, they will be in a position to proceed or not. He reiterated that there is a fundamentally great relationship between Nathan and Jennie and that he just thinks it is best that we pause for now. If they are comfortable with their review of everything after they have reviewed all of the tax returns, they will then quickly re-engage and move forward. He said we all know what the issues are, so we should just wait until this work is done so they can complete their due diligence. So, to me, this makes sense given how they are looking at this.
