From: Richard Barnett To: 'effre E stein < [email protected]>, Subject: Chiller Cooling Tower upgrade project Proposal update Sent: Wednesday, February 27, 2013 7:47:43 PM Mr. Epstein as requested to get the two HVAC contractors bidding the Chiller and Cooling Tower up grade project the same scope of work bids to compare pricing.AD Winston came in with a complete bid package with electrical connections and property protection included in their proposal at $357,255.00 .Pierpont Mechanical did not include the electrical work and property protection for the project and priced the project at $330,000.00 after a few weeks of waiting for Pierpont to bring in an electrican and general contractor to include the missing pricing .Pierpont has now requested to bring the two contractors in on Tuesday March 5th to finilize their bid .I have already asked AD.Winston to revise their proposal and try to give us the lowest price possible.Hopefully by the end of next week we will have two complete lowered proposals and pick one contractor to start the up grade project.RB EFTA_R1_00027151 EFTA01739000
