Dear Jeffrey..
You have always had a magical way of making me feel safe in the world. Whether it was
reassuring me when I was worried or advising me on what move to make next in my life,
or explaining how men really are, or countless other examples, you have been there for
me. You have always been the knight in shinning armor showing up when I was in a
pinch...and have always been so gracious about it. More than anyone in my whole life, I
have been able to count on you and for so much more than financial needs. You have
helped me grow up, seen me through struggles and even protected me.
You have not responded to my emails in weeks and I feel scared and have to share it
with you because I trust you and can be vulnerable with you. The house not selling yet
makes me feel sick with worry. I had been so sure that it would have sold by now.
Though I would have still asked for your help in purchasing it, I would never have
assured you that the sale would be immediate had I thought otherwise. I am so sorry to
have put you in this position. Are you disappointed in me? Mad at me? Are you in the
clinker? Holed up in some palace with yet another Prime Minister that needs your
brilliance on his side?
At 3AM, every night, I think of you, ra in that this won't affect our friendship. When I
am feeding the ducks and geese
I think of you, when I look at the deer out
my window, I think of you with joy and how you made all of this possible. I am sorry to
have dragged you into this, as happy as you have made me. Please let me know that you
are okay. Please let me know that we are okay.
Love
