BTW, I made a mistake when you asked me how much the charter company pays contract pilots. I assumed it was just
$100/day on the days we don't fly but they actually pay $1000 each day of the trip, including non-flying days, plus $100
per diem for meals. Just in case you were comparing rates for your rental pilot...
