With over 2000 members, we really really try to stay on topic. I know other groups don't care and allow trivia, grand kids, pets, etc. This is the one place you can come and be assured there's no politics, religion, or other personal stuff. Enjoy! Let's talk Coney Island, the way it was, and is going to be remembered. Those of us from the 40's- 70's are the last ones left to carry the torch so others will know what it was like to live and play there. Coney Island, Sea Gate, Surf Houses, Gravesend, Brighton Beach, Trump, Warbasse and Luna Park. Lincoln HS, Lafayette HS, Mark Twain JHS, PS 80 & 188, OLS, and the Yeshivas. From Steeplechase to Playland, the rides and the beach. Nathan's, Carolina's, Gargiulo's, Huba Huba, Carve!. Jelly apples and cotton candy. All are welcome to read. Only members can post. No spam, adverts, or self serving posts. Lots of great pictures in our archives.
