From: PGP Harvard Support <[email protected]> on behalf of PGP Harvard Support <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, June 9, 2016 7:36 PM To: [email protected] Subject: PGP Harvard: Invitation from Genos Beta and $399 exome sequencing Dear PGP Harvard participant, The following is an invitation from a third party activity. While this act=vity is not conducted by PGP Harvard, we thought you might be intereste= in learning about it. You are receiving this because: you are enrolled in the Harvard Personal G=nome Project you do not currently have genome data prod=ced by Harvard PGP Note: This activity is not reviewed by the Harvard Medical School=Institutional Review Board as part of PGP Harvard's study protoco=. Third party activities have approval from their own IRB or equivalent w=en applicable (see information below). You can unsubscribe to all third p=rty activity notifications, by following instructions at the bottom of=this email. Thank you for your ongoing participation! PGP Harvard Title: Genos Beta About: Genos is a commercial genomics project that aims to revolutionize research=by working directly with people who own their genomic data, giving them=choices on how its value is utilized. Genos is inviting Harvard PGP participants to join as some of its first "B=ta" members, with a special offer for $399 exome sequencing for partici=ants that do not yet have their genome sequenced. If you join, Genos will sequence your exome with 75X coverage (CLIA-cert=fied). Your resulting exome data would become part of the Genos platform=2C and you will control who has access to your data. You'll have access t= free tools for exploring your genome. Genos also plans to enable you to=share your data with research partners, and give you compensation each=time you share your data. Beta members will influence the growth of the G=nos platform and be the first to access these planned partnerships. Your exome data files will also be available to you for download, and yo= may choose to donate that data to the Harvard PGP, Open Humans, and=other projects. Learn more about Genos Beta and $399 CLIA exome sequencing: www.genosresearch.com <http:///h> Genos Beta members will receive the following: 1. $399 exome sequencing<=strong> with 75x coverage, CLIA-certified. EFTA_R1_00105624 EFTA01784361 2. Free tools to explore=your exome, including data visualization and genetic variant i=formation. 3. Access to certified genetic counse=ors for personalized consultations with preferred rates. 4. (Planned) Compensation for data sh=ring. Choose to share your genomic information with researchers=2C on a study-by-study basis, and receive compensation through Genos fo= sharing your data. This feature is planned beginning in Fall 2016. Joining the Genos platform does not affect your participation in P.P. Genos Beta is not a research study and has no IRB review. Genos is a c=mpany founded by Mark Blumling (Chief Executive Officer) and Cliff Reid (=xecutive Chairman, and former CEO and co-founder of Complete Genomics=2C Inc). You can read more about Genos at their website: www.genosresearch.com <http:=//h> Please reach out to info@gen=sresearch.com with any questions. P.S. Harvard PGP has about 70 genome data sets that are still in process (=ot yet released). Please contact Harvard PGP if you want to find out more=about your sequencing status.
