From: on behalf of Ben Goertzel .t Sent: Thursday, August 4, 2016 10:07 PM To: Jeffrey Epstein Subject: OpenCog reasoning on the Hanson Robot Hi, So here's a video of some pretty basic PLN based inference happening via the Hanson robot... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lcluD7Et_cOs&feature=youtu.be The reasoning itself is very simplistic -- PLN can do much fancier stuff run on its own as an inference engine -- but this is a bit of a systems integration milestone in terms of getting language comprehension, language generation, robot control and PIN inference all working together... This particular demo doesn't showcase much visual perception, we'll record a video involving perception too sometime soon... I'm on the West Coast thru Aug 23 or so, then heading back East.... If you'll be out West in this interval perhaps we could connect and discuss AGI more -- the Sophia robot may be out here too for part of the time though that's less certain... With a little more work this should be an amazing platform for teaching a young OpenCog mind, as we were briefly discussing at your house...
