She also stated that her accomplice was Rasmieh Odeh. Both ter=orists served 10 years of their life sentences in Israeli prisons, until t=ey were released in a prisoner exchange in 1979. Odeh's supporters claim that her original trial in Israel was m=rked with 'bias and inconsistencies,' and that Odeh confessed her involvem=nt in terrorism only after she was tortured by security authorities." We were organized. We engaged in resistance =o the occupation in all its forms... I turned to involvement in armed acti=ity. We carried out an operation (i.e., terrorist attack) in western Jerus=lem on Feb. 22, (sic., 21,) 1969." In 2013, she was arrested=for immigration fraud. She is serving 18 months in prison and will be deported from=the US to Jordan after completing her sentence.
