When I hired Pete Dye to design the course, I told him Frank =Ioyd Wright said "A house should not be on the hill, but of the =ill." I asked him to build the =ourse not on the beach, but of the beach. =/SPAN>lf you had an opportunity to view the sensational television coverage, you =ould understand he accomplished my request. It is satisfying to see how an amenity in a great, but =ff-location site, can be the core in building one of the greatest second home communities =n the world. Doug and I were =ortunate to be honored guests. We had an =opportunity to visit with many, many old friends.
