The left gear is in the machine shop= they have performed an NDT of the effected area and it appears there is enough=20 material to remove the corrosion and remain within limits. They will proce=d this weekend with the machining and check the remaining thickness again on=20 Monday and get engineering involved for approval as well. There is still=a good chance the corrosion is beyond acceptable limits. I should have an answer=no later that Tuesday on this gear leg. Everything else is just about wrappe= up.
