Tactics: get Fergie to retract; hold newspapers =ccountable; filing a formal complaint with the Press Complaints Commission (we would get coverage of this and =hat the complaint says — what the facts are, as opposed to what =as been reported); get op-eds published from experts and separately from friends; get =etters to the editors/posts from friends; launch a web offense and =efense; find a friendly reporter to do a more definitive story of what =appened. This last suggestion of course carries risk, but if it =s the right reporter could influence other =edia.
