From: Warwick Wicksman Sent: Saturday, April 16, 2011 12:27 AM To: Jeffrey Epstein; Gary Kerney; Tom Sze Cc: Bryan Oakes; Dayna Bruce; Doug Schoettle Subject: 4/14/11 Virtual Meeting Jeffrey and Gary, Thank you for the virtual meeting yesterday!&n=sp; I know it took a while to review everything — but I appreciate t=e time, and I think it was highly productive. Here are my notes: Flagpole Pool Area: Shade Structures: o Gary to confirm layout of columns. (One bay 8' center-to=center north-to-south, 12'-6" center-to-center east-to- west.)<=:p> o Dimension from waterline to center of columns to be 13'-=" (based on Gary field dimension from waterline to center of east pa=m tree). o Columns are 16x16 CMU with cement plaster finish, 8' tal=. o Roof slope to be 4:12 (pool building to remain 6:12). o Gensler to provide alternate 3d view of shade structures raise= on 6" platform for review. Pool o Shell is built. Gary to send photos.</=> o Gensler to show diving board on west end. o Coping to be 12x16 coral stone. Site Walls: o Lower existing walls to +/- 18" above deck. o Lower top of new north wall behind shade structure to +18&=8221; above deck. o Lower tops of other new walls to +7' above deck. o Omit low wall along road east of pool building; not required.<=:p> EFTA_R1_00153957 EFTA01806406 o The north and south walls are 3' from face of wall to ce=ter of column, when we re-center the shade structures based on 13' f=om to the waterline. This is to close on the south side. We propose moving these walls 2' further ou=, so there is 5' from face of wall to center of column.</=pan> " Hardscape: o Deck paving to be coral stone, similar to other areas. o Gensler to provide design for deck paving, including accents/p=tterns at stairs, building entrance, shade structures (similar to stone &#=220;carpet"). May incorporate rectilinear and diagonal patterns. o Gary to provide trench drain layout and specs. Lighting: o Gensler to provide lighting ideas. Will need to re-retai= lighting designer. o Up- and down-lighting at palm trees. o Sconces at shade structures. o Ceiling lighting at shade structures not discussed. Jeff=ey, do you want down lighting only? Do we need fans? o Layout of wall lights at steps and new walls. o Up-lighting from outside pool area. " Civil/Landscaping: o Gary to provide revised layout for road (may be shifting about=5' south. o Gensler to provide concept for road paving layout — wash=d aggregate drive and parking area. Main Residence Living Room/Pool Area: Pool Area: o Omit east terraces from design for now. Will be addresse= with landscaping at a later time. o Extend pool deck +/-8', to be beyond east deck at li=ing room. o Raise "frame" to sit on top of deck. Revise =rame to be 30" wide (maintain overall height and width).<=span> o Omit low walls at end of pool deck for now.<=p> o Provide stair from deck down to east side of living room.=/o:p> o Check correct location of pool (see our "Survey.dwr; — the new location is now xref'd into that plan).=/span> 2 EFTA_R1_00153958 EFTA01806407 o Confirm locations of palm trees in garden area with photos and=latest survey. Add one more row of trees toward pool. Living Room: o Revise roof design to be more similar to main residence.<=0:p> o Change east windows of living room to doors.=/p> o Revise tops of large windows to be arched.</=> o South rooms at Living Room facing pool area:=/p> * Raise height of roofs to match living room.<=p> * Mechanical for living room to be in attic.</=> * Widen spaces to 10". * Consider alternate layout that moves rooms to middle, with pla=ters at either end. o Show walls as 24" thick (two course of CMU, full height =ile inside, cement plaster outside). Main Residence: o Wrap raised terrace at existing office, around east side of of=ice, to connect with terrace at north side (match existing width). o Add square stair from pool area down to living room level, bet=een newly extended office terrace, and living room southwest planter.=/o:p> Guest Cottage/Pool Room: o This is also on the new survey we have. o Omit one of the future guest cottages. Keep one — =imilar to existing — but 21' x 21' overall size. o Pool room will be located below guest cottage. North Terraces and Service Road: o Add "boulder" wall along south side of service roa=, +/-6' tall, to reduce berm/terrace heights.<=p> o Gensler to send new layout for connection to library to Jeffre= (latest hand sketch from Tom S). Just a reminder, I will be out on vacation nex= week, but will monitor emails. Tom, we can discuss this on Monday via phone.&=bsp; I will leave some marked-up sketches with Dayna. 3 EFTA_R1_001 53959 EFTA01806408 Thanks, Warwick =u> = &=bsp; &nbs=; Warwick Wicksman, AIA Princi al =nbsp; &nb=p; =nbsp; Gensler </=pan> 2500 Broadway Suite 300 Santa Monica, California 90404 USA h=tp://www.Gensler.com <http://www.gensler.com/> =/p> Click here to view Gensler'= 2010 Annual Report. <http://www.gensler.com/uploads/documents/=R_2010_02_18_2011.pdf> 4 EFTA_R1_00153960 EFTA01806409
